Mark Watts
is a partner at Bristows, specialising in non-contentious IT matters, particularly

Mark joined

Dan advises

Dan Cooper

Dan Cooper is a

universities. He is the author of
numerous articles on intellectual property,
privacy, and data security matters and is a
member of the Law Society's ad hoc group on
data protection.
He has spoken on
intellectual property and privacy issues
before various public and private bodies,
and has represented clients in regulatory
proceedings involving European government

Mr. Cooper is a

Suzanne Rodway
is currently
Group Privacy Director within the

Bank.
She trained with global law firm
Linklaters, where she qualified into
the Technology, Media &
Telecommunications practice.
In this role she advised clients on
a variety of aspects of IT law but
quickly developed an interest in
global data protection and ecommerce
laws
–
an interest which has remained
firmly in place ever since.
This interest led, after completing
a number of years in the practice,
to a move in-house within Linklaters
to advise the firm on its own
privacy and information risk
management issues.

With the experience
gained in this role Suzanne then undertook a
secondment to Barclays as their interim head
of data protection. She joined
Barclays in December 2006.
In her new role as
Group Privacy Director she has
responsibility for oversight of the group's
compliance with privacy, data protection and
freedom of information laws, worldwide.
Suzanne presents
frequently on privacy issues and writes
regularly on the subject.
Ayesha James
is a
