Jonathan Baines is Information Rights Officer in Buckinghamshire County Council's Legal and Democratic Services. He advises the Council and public sector partners on data protection, freedom of information and privacy and surveillance matters. He is a member of the Council's Information Governance Board, and is lead officer on Open Data and Transparency. Jonathan holds a Master of Laws qualification in Information Rights Law and Practice from Northumbria University and gives talks and training on the subject to both internal and external clients.

Ciaran Ward is Information Officer with the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority where he advises and trains staff as well as co-ordinating the Authority’s information management strategy. In addition to Freedom of Information he specialises in Environmental Information Regulations, Data Protection and Records Management. He has presented conference papers and written for a number on publications on various aspects of information management.
